Officially known as Ski-Town USA, Steamboat has always found a place in the hearts of the skiers. Since its humble beginnings, the Steamboat Ski Resort has grown into one of the premier resorts in the world offering 20 lifts, 142 trails and seven on-mountain restaurants. With legendary beautiful tree-lined trails covering its four peaks, Steamboat is one of the finest ski areas in the US. Steamboat has produced more winter Olympians than any other town in North America - a record 54 and counting.

Once winter and spring skiing has passed and the ski lifts stop, hiking and biking, swimming and tennis, rafting and ballooning and a summerlong series of special events draw tourists to this fun-filled town. Summer months are blessed with daytime temperatures that reach the 80's and average 60°F.
