Comment: We were originally booked in an end unit. It was so loud! Property management came and listened and swore it was the wind. We swore it was a stereo. They moved us to 1402 and it was so much nicer than the other unit. The pictures don't do it justice. The only thing I wish that was different, is I wish the 2nd bedroom had twin's decorated beautifully and the master bed is sooooo cozy.I would not recommend staying on an end unit, just in case it is the wind, you won't be able to sleep! But 1402 is beautiful and clean.

It was in the perfect location. The view was spectacular! We definately plan on returning very soon. We had no complaints at all. The parking was great. Everthing was clean and the master bed was very comfortable.

Comment: My family and I were very excited about the trip to Gulf Shores. The agency was very professional when I booked the condo in early July and when we checked in on July 27. However, upon arrival to the condo we were disappointed. The furniture was covered with sand--couches, chairs, beds, etc. The rug in the bathroom was terribly dirty as was the carpet in the condo. We didn't realize how bad it was at first, as we are not what you would call "clean freaks" and did not call the realty company because we had just driven about 6 hours and were exhausted. However, upon further inspection we saw that the bathrooms had not been cleaned period--my sister found a used washcloth on the side of the tub in the main bathroom and the master bathroom garbage was full. There was also trash on the balcony. I was hesitant to let my six month old touch anything! I don't think that the condo has been cleaned in a long time. At one point during the three days my toe slid underneath the couch to touch a piece of gum. When I began to tell the lady at the company about the condition of the condo at checkout, she responded that I should have called them so that the cleaners would know there was a problem. The cleaners should know that there is a problem when they don't clean. From the response of the lady at the company, this must be a common complaint. We wanted to just grin and bear it but it was more disgusting the longer we stayed. Also, when I studied the breakdown of charges more closely it really bothered me that $86 is for the departure cleaning fee. I think that is absolutely horrible. The people who stayed there before us must have paid for this same service and it never happened because we were left with their trash and filth. We would like to be refunded or credited the $86 cleaning fee.

Comment: Noticed silver fish on our last day. The living room furniture was very worn. The box springs on the king size bed were very noisy getting in and out of bed. The owners stayed in the room before we arrived and they didn't clean very well before they left so we called and housekeeping cleaned better. The view was beautiful yet too high for my husband. The staff was great, Betty was especially helpful and the housekeeper was really nice, she even went to Walmart to pick-up vacuum bags since the one in the vacuum was bursting at the seams and there were no extra bags in the unit.

Comment: My husband and myself came with another couple for the 2009 Shrimp Fest. We have stayed with Bender in the past. Since it was the first time the other couple had ever been to Gulf Shores we gave them the master bedroom. I had called the same day we checked in about how small the bed was in the extra bedroom and there was water outside of the front door. Bender send someone out to clean up the water and to check the bed. I was told it was a queen size, I told him it was the smallest queen size I had ever seen. And the light outside the extra bedroom window caused my husband and I to sleep when we could in daylight at night. When it rained again while we were there, I cleaned it the water outside the front door myself. And also the furniture on the balcony was not very comfortable. I will stay with Bender again, however I will ask more questions before I book.

Comment: We have been staying in the Crystal Shores condo for 5 years now. The first few years were great. The past two years, the 2nd bedroom has been left with dirty bedding. Last year it was sand. This year was dog hair, even though dogs aren't allowed. The majority of the staff was very friendly, but there was one exception. Jimmy (title unknown) was not very helpful and unwilling to come out to help clean up the problem. It put a damper on our first night there and I hope there is not a repeat next year.

Comment: My family of 6 stayed in the Crystal Shores Unit 1402 for an extended Labor Day weekend family vacation. This was our first time visiting Gulf Shores and staying in a condo. The condo was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Three of our kids slept on the sofas so the 2nd bedroom could easily fit another couple. The master bed is very COMFY; I miss the pillows! There were extra pillows (no pillowcases, though) and blankets in the master closet, but we didn't need to use them. The view was impressive from the balcony - we saw dolphins sometimes in the morning. The Bender Realty staff was extremely helpful, friendly and accomodating when I needed advice or had to make minor changes to our reservation. We will definitely be back!

Comment: My family and I really enjoyed our vacation and condo rental. Our check in and check out were fast and easy with Bender Realty. The condo was decorated nicely. We felt safe while staying at Crystal Shores. There was a security guard that was highly visible. There were two things that I do wish would have been different. The guest bathroom did have a really slow drain in the bathtub, and the pool was extremely small. However, I would definitely book a condo through Bender Realty again because of their hospitality and satisfaction with our overall stay.

The condo unit was clean, unassuming and suited our needs to a T Not a lot of frills, but we weren't expecting them. The view from 14 stories up was spectacular. If there was anything dissapointing about Crystal Shores it would be the swimming pool area, which was somewhat sterile and quite small considering the overall size of the building. No reflection on the condo unit itself, though. Bender Realty was efficient and simple with the process, which made our stay that much more enjoyable.

Comment: My family and I were very excited about the trip to Gulf Shores. The agency was very professional when I booked the condo in early July and when we checked in on July 27. However, upon arrival to the condo we were disappointed. The furniture was covered with sand--couches, chairs, beds, etc. The rug in the bathroom was terribly dirty as was the carpet in the condo. We didn't realize how bad it was at first, as we are not what you would call "clean freaks" and did not call the realty company because we had just driven about 6 hours and were exhausted. However, upon further inspection we saw that the bathrooms had not been cleaned period--my sister found a used washcloth on the side of the tub in the main bathroom and the master bathroom garbage was full. There was also trash on the balcony. I was hesitant to let my six month old touch anything! I don't think that the condo has been cleaned in a long time. At one point during the three days my toe slid underneath the couch to touch a piece of gum. When I began to tell the lady at the company about the condition of the condo at checkout, she responded that I should have called them so that the cleaners would know there was a problem. The cleaners should know that there is a problem when they don't clean. From the response of the lady at the company, this must be a common complaint. We wanted to just grin and bear it but it was more disgusting the longer we stayed. Also, when I studied the breakdown of charges more closely it really bothered me that $86 is for the departure cleaning fee. I think that is absolutely horrible. The people who stayed there before us must have paid for this same service and it never happened because we were left with their trash and filth. We would like to be refunded or credited the $86 cleaning fee.

Comment: Noticed silver fish on our last day. The living room furniture was very worn. The box springs on the king size bed were very noisy getting in and out of bed. The owners stayed in the room before we arrived and they didn't clean very well before they left so we called and housekeeping cleaned better. The view was beautiful yet too high for my husband. The staff was great, Betty was especially helpful and the housekeeper was really nice, she even went to Walmart to pick-up vacuum bags since the one in the vacuum was bursting at the seams and there were no extra bags in the unit.

Comment: My husband and myself came with another couple for the 2009 Shrimp Fest. We have stayed with Bender in the past. Since it was the first time the other couple had ever been to Gulf Shores we gave them the master bedroom. I had called the same day we checked in about how small the bed was in the extra bedroom and there was water outside of the front door. Bender send someone out to clean up the water and to check the bed. I was told it was a queen size, I told him it was the smallest queen size I had ever seen. And the light outside the extra bedroom window caused my husband and I to sleep when we could in daylight at night. When it rained again while we were there, I cleaned it the water outside the front door myself. And also the furniture on the balcony was not very comfortable. I will stay with Bender again, however I will ask more questions before I book.

Comment: We have been staying in the Crystal Shores condo for 5 years now. The first few years were great. The past two years, the 2nd bedroom has been left with dirty bedding. Last year it was sand. This year was dog hair, even though dogs aren't allowed. The majority of the staff was very friendly, but there was one exception. Jimmy (title unknown) was not very helpful and unwilling to come out to help clean up the problem. It put a damper on our first night there and I hope there is not a repeat next year.

Comment: My family of 6 stayed in the Crystal Shores Unit 1402 for an extended Labor Day weekend family vacation. This was our first time visiting Gulf Shores and staying in a condo. The condo was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Three of our kids slept on the sofas so the 2nd bedroom could easily fit another couple. The master bed is very COMFY; I miss the pillows! There were extra pillows (no pillowcases, though) and blankets in the master closet, but we didn't need to use them. The view was impressive from the balcony - we saw dolphins sometimes in the morning. The Bender Realty staff was extremely helpful, friendly and accomodating when I needed advice or had to make minor changes to our reservation. We will definitely be back!

We felt safe while staying at Crystal Shores. There was a security guard that was highly visible. There were two things that I do wish would have been different. The guest bathroom did have a really slow drain in the bathtub, and the pool was extremely small. However, I would definitely book a condo through Bender Realty again because of their hospitality and satisfaction with our overall stay.

Comment: We were originally booked in an end unit. It was so loud! Property management came and listened and swore it was the wind. We swore it was a stereo. They moved us to 1402 and it was so much nicer than the other unit. The pictures don't do it justice. The only thing I wish that was different, is I wish the 2nd bedroom had twin's decorated beautifully and the master bed is sooooo cozy.I would not recommend staying on an end unit, just in case it is the wind, you won't be able to sleep! Comment: My family and I were very excited about the trip to Gulf Shores. The agency was very professional when I booked the condo in early July and when we checked in on July 27. However, upon arrival to the condo we were disappointed. The furniture was covered with sand--couches, chairs, beds, etc. The rug in the bathroom was terribly dirty as was the carpet in the condo. We didn't realize how bad it was at first, as we are not what you would call "clean freaks" and did not call the realty company because we had just driven about 6 hours and were exhausted. However, upon further inspection we saw that the bathrooms had not been cleaned period--my sister found a used washcloth on the side of the tub in the main bathroom and the master bathroom garbage was full. There was also trash on the balcony. I was hesitant to let my six month old touch anything! I don't think that the condo has been cleaned in a long time. At one point during the three days my toe slid underneath the couch to touch a piece of gum. When I began to tell the lady at the company about the condition of the condo at checkout, she responded that I should have called them so that the cleaners would know there was a problem. The cleaners should know that there is a problem when they don't clean. From the response of the lady at the company, this must be a common complaint. We wanted to just grin and bear it but it was more disgusting the longer we stayed. Also, when I studied the breakdown of charges more closely it really bothered me that $86 is for the departure cleaning fee. I think that is absolutely horrible. The people who stayed there before us must have paid for this same service and it never happened because we were left with their trash and filth. We would like to be refunded or credited the $86 cleaning fee.

Since it was the first time the other couple had ever been to Gulf Shores we gave them the master bedroom. I had called the same day we checked in about how small the bed was in the extra bedroom and there was water outside of the front door. Bender send someone out to clean up the water and to check the bed. I was told it was a queen size, I told him it was the smallest queen size I had ever seen. And the light outside the extra bedroom window caused my husband and I to sleep when we could in daylight at night. When it rained again while we were there, I cleaned it the water outside the front door myself. And also the furniture on the balcony was not very comfortable. I will stay with Bender again, however I will ask more questions before I book.

Comment: Noticed silver fish on our last day. The living room furniture was very worn. The box springs on the king size bed were very noisy getting in and out of bed. The owners stayed in the room before we arrived and they didn't clean very well before they left so we called and housekeeping cleaned better. The view was beautiful yet too high for my husband. The staff was great, Betty was especially helpful and the housekeeper was really nice, she even went to Walmart to pick-up vacuum bags since the one in the vacuum was bursting at the seams and there were no extra bags in the unit.

Comment: My family of 6 stayed in the Crystal Shores Unit 1402 for an extended Labor Day weekend family vacation. This was our first time visiting Gulf Shores and staying in a condo. The condo was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Three of our kids slept on the sofas so the 2nd bedroom could easily fit another couple. The master bed is very COMFY; I miss the pillows! There were extra pillows (no pillowcases, though) and blankets in the master closet, but we didn't need to use them. The view was impressive from the balcony - we saw dolphins sometimes in the morning. The Bender Realty staff was extremely helpful, friendly and accomodating when I needed advice or had to make minor changes to our reservation. We will definitely be back!

We felt safe while staying at Crystal Shores. There was a security guard that was highly visible. There were two things that I do wish would have been different. The guest bathroom did have a really slow drain in the bathtub, and the pool was extremely small. However, I would definitely book a condo through Bender Realty again because of their hospitality and satisfaction with our overall stay.

The condo unit was clean, unassuming and suited our needs to a T Not a lot of frills, but we weren't expecting them. The view from 14 stories up was spectacular. If there was anything dissapointing about Crystal Shores it would be the swimming pool area, which was somewhat sterile and quite small considering the overall size of the building. No reflection on the condo unit itself, though. Bender Realty was efficient and simple with the process, which made our stay that much more enjoyable.

Comment: We were originally booked in an end unit. It was so loud! Property management came and listened and swore it was the wind. We swore it was a stereo. They moved us to 1402 and it was so much nicer than the other unit. The pictures don't do it justice. The only thing I wish that was different, is I wish the 2nd bedroom had twin's decorated beautifully and the master bed is sooooo cozy.I would not recommend staying on an end unit, just in case it is the wind, you won't be able to sleep! But 1402 is beautiful and clean.

Comment: My husband and myself came with another couple for the 2009 Shrimp Fest. We have stayed with Bender in the past. Since it was the first time the other couple had ever been to Gulf Shores we gave them the master bedroom. I had called the same day we checked in about how small the bed was in the extra bedroom and there was water outside of the front door. Bender send someone out to clean up the water and to check the bed. I was told it was a queen size, I told him it was the smallest queen size I had ever seen. And the light outside the extra bedroom window caused my husband and I to sleep when we could in daylight at night. When it rained again while we were there, I cleaned it the water outside the front door myself. And also the furniture on the balcony was not very comfortable. I will stay with Bender again, however I will ask more questions before I book.

Comment: We have been staying in the Crystal Shores condo for 5 years now. The first few years were great. The past two years, the 2nd bedroom has been left with dirty bedding. Last year it was sand. This year was dog hair, even though dogs aren't allowed. The majority of the staff was very friendly, but there was one exception. Jimmy (title unknown) was not very helpful and unwilling to come out to help clean up the problem. It put a damper on our first night there and I hope there is not a repeat next year.

Comment: My family of 6 stayed in the Crystal Shores Unit 1402 for an extended Labor Day weekend family vacation. This was our first time visiting Gulf Shores and staying in a condo. The condo was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Three of our kids slept on the sofas so the 2nd bedroom could easily fit another couple. The master bed is very COMFY; I miss the pillows! There were extra pillows (no pillowcases, though) and blankets in the master closet, but we didn't need to use them. The view was impressive from the balcony - we saw dolphins sometimes in the morning. The Bender Realty staff was extremely helpful, friendly and accomodating when I needed advice or had to make minor changes to our reservation. We will definitely be back!

Comment: My family and I really enjoyed our vacation and condo rental. Our check in and check out were fast and easy with Bender Realty. The condo was decorated nicely. We felt safe while staying at Crystal Shores. There was a security guard that was highly visible. There were two things that I do wish would have been different. The guest bathroom did have a really slow drain in the bathtub, and the pool was extremely small. However, I would definitely book a condo through Bender Realty again because of their hospitality and satisfaction with our overall stay.

Comment: We were originally booked in an end unit. It was so loud! Property management came and listened and swore it was the wind. We swore it was a stereo. They moved us to 1402 and it was so much nicer than the other unit. The pictures don't do it justice. The only thing I wish that was different, is I wish the 2nd bedroom had twin's decorated beautifully and the master bed is sooooo cozy.I would not recommend staying on an end unit, just in case it is the wind, you won't be able to sleep! But 1402 is beautiful and clean.

Comment: My family and I were very excited about the trip to Gulf Shores. The agency was very professional when I booked the condo in early July and when we checked in on July 27. However, upon arrival to the condo we were disappointed. The furniture was covered with sand--couches, chairs, beds, etc. The rug in the bathroom was terribly dirty as was the carpet in the condo. We didn't realize how bad it was at first, as we are not what you would call "clean freaks" and did not call the realty company because we had just driven about 6 hours and were exhausted. However, upon further inspection we saw that the bathrooms had not been cleaned period--my sister found a used washcloth on the side of the tub in the main bathroom and the master bathroom garbage was full. There was also trash on the balcony. I was hesitant to let my six month old touch anything! I don't think that the condo has been cleaned in a long time. At one point during the three days my toe slid underneath the couch to touch a piece of gum. When I began to tell the lady at the company about the condition of the condo at checkout, she responded that I should have called them so that the cleaners would know there was a problem. The cleaners should know that there is a problem when they don't clean. From the response of the lady at the company, this must be a common complaint. We wanted to just grin and bear it but it was more disgusting the longer we stayed. Also, when I studied the breakdown of charges more closely it really bothered me that $86 is for the departure cleaning fee. I think that is absolutely horrible. The people who stayed there before us must have paid for this same service and it never happened because we were left with their trash and filth. We would like to be refunded or credited the $86 cleaning fee.

Comment: Noticed silver fish on our last day. The living room furniture was very worn. The box springs on the king size bed were very noisy getting in and out of bed. The owners stayed in the room before we arrived and they didn't clean very well before they left so we called and housekeeping cleaned better. The view was beautiful yet too high for my husband. The staff was great, Betty was especially helpful and the housekeeper was really nice, she even went to Walmart to pick-up vacuum bags since the one in the vacuum was bursting at the seams and there were no extra bags in the unit.

This year was dog hair, even though dogs aren't allowed. The majority of the staff was very friendly, but there was one exception. Jimmy (title unknown) was not very helpful and unwilling to come out to help clean up the problem. It put a damper on our first night there and I hope there is not a repeat next year.

Comment: My family of 6 stayed in the Crystal Shores Unit 1402 for an extended Labor Day weekend family vacation. This was our first time visiting Gulf Shores and staying in a condo. The condo was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Three of our kids slept on the sofas so the 2nd bedroom could easily fit another couple. The master bed is very COMFY; I miss the pillows! There were extra pillows (no pillowcases, though) and blankets in the master closet, but we didn't need to use them. The view was impressive from the balcony - we saw dolphins sometimes in the morning. The Bender Realty staff was extremely helpful, friendly and accomodating when I needed advice or had to make minor changes to our reservation. We will definitely be back!

They moved us to 1402 and it was so much nicer than the other unit. The pictures don't do it justice. The only thing I wish that was different, is I wish the 2nd bedroom had twin's decorated beautifully and the master bed is sooooo cozy.I would not recommend staying on an end unit, just in case it is the wind, you won't be able to sleep! But 1402 is beautiful and clean.

Comment: My family and I were very excited about the trip to Gulf Shores. The agency was very professional when I booked the condo in early July and when we checked in on July 27. However, upon arrival to the condo we were disappointed. The furniture was covered with sand--couches, chairs, beds, etc. The rug in the bathroom was terribly dirty as was the carpet in the condo. We didn't realize how bad it was at first, as we are not what you would call "clean freaks" and did not call the realty company because we had just driven about 6 hours and were exhausted. However, upon further inspection we saw that the bathrooms had not been cleaned period--my sister found a used washcloth on the side of the tub in the main bathroom and the master bathroom garbage was full. There was also trash on the balcony. I was hesitant to let my six month old touch anything! I don't think that the condo has been cleaned in a long time. At one point during the three days my toe slid underneath the couch to touch a piece of gum. When I began to tell the lady at the company about the condition of the condo at checkout, she responded that I should have called them so that the cleaners would know there was a problem. The cleaners should know that there is a problem when they don't clean. From the response of the lady at the company, this must be a common complaint. We wanted to just grin and bear it but it was more disgusting the longer we stayed. Also, when I studied the breakdown of charges more closely it really bothered me that $86 is for the departure cleaning fee. I think that is absolutely horrible. The people who stayed there before us must have paid for this same service and it never happened because we were left with their trash and filth. We would like to be refunded or credited the $86 cleaning fee.

Comment: Noticed silver fish on our last day. The living room furniture was very worn. The box springs on the king size bed were very noisy getting in and out of bed. The owners stayed in the room before we arrived and they didn't clean very well before they left so we called and housekeeping cleaned better. The view was beautiful yet too high for my husband. The staff was great, Betty was especially helpful and the housekeeper was really nice, she even went to Walmart to pick-up vacuum bags since the one in the vacuum was bursting at the seams and there were no extra bags in the unit.

The condo was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Three of our kids slept on the sofas so the 2nd bedroom could easily fit another couple. The master bed is very COMFY; I miss the pillows! There were extra pillows (no pillowcases, though) and blankets in the master closet, but we didn't need to use them. The view was impressive from the balcony - we saw dolphins sometimes in the morning. The Bender Realty staff was extremely helpful, friendly and accomodating when I needed advice or had to make minor changes to our reservation. We will definitely be back!

We felt safe while staying at Crystal Shores. There was a security guard that was highly visible. There were two things that I do wish would have been different. The guest bathroom did have a really slow drain in the bathtub, and the pool was extremely small. However, I would definitely book a condo through Bender Realty again because of their hospitality and satisfaction with our overall stay.

The condo unit was clean, unassuming and suited our needs to a T Not a lot of frills, but we weren't expecting them. The view from 14 stories up was spectacular. If there was anything dissapointing about Crystal Shores it would be the swimming pool area, which was somewhat sterile and quite small considering the overall size of the building. No reflection on the condo unit itself, though. Bender Realty was efficient and simple with the process, which made our stay that much more enjoyable.

Comment: We were originally booked in an end unit. It was so loud! Property management came and listened and swore it was the wind. We swore it was a stereo. They moved us to 1402 and it was so much nicer than the other unit. The pictures don't do it justice. The only thing I wish that was different, is I wish the 2nd bedroom had twin's decorated beautifully and the master bed is sooooo cozy.I would not recommend staying on an end unit, just in case it is the wind, you won't be able to sleep! But 1402 is beautiful and clean.

Comment: My family and I were very excited about the trip to Gulf Shores. The agency was very professional when I booked the condo in early July and when we checked in on July 27. However, upon arrival to the condo we were disappointed. The furniture was covered with sand--couches, chairs, beds, etc. The rug in the bathroom was terribly dirty as was the carpet in the condo. We didn't realize how bad it was at first, as we are not what you would call "clean freaks" and did not call the realty company because we had just driven about 6 hours and were exhausted. However, upon further inspection we saw that the bathrooms had not been cleaned period--my sister found a used washcloth on the side of the tub in the main bathroom and the master bathroom garbage was full. There was also trash on the balcony. I was hesitant to let my six month old touch anything! I don't think that the condo has been cleaned in a long time. At one point during the three days my toe slid underneath the couch to touch a piece of gum. When I began to tell the lady at the company about the condition of the condo at checkout, she responded that I should have called them so that the cleaners would know there was a problem. The cleaners should know that there is a problem when they don't clean. From the response of the lady at the company, this must be a common complaint. We wanted to just grin and bear it but it was more disgusting the longer we stayed. Also, when I studied the breakdown of charges more closely it really bothered me that $86 is for the departure cleaning fee. I think that is absolutely horrible. The people who stayed there before us must have paid for this same service and it never happened because we were left with their trash and filth. We would like to be refunded or credited the $86 cleaning fee.

Comment: Noticed silver fish on our last day. The living room furniture was very worn. The box springs on the king size bed were very noisy getting in and out of bed. The owners stayed in the room before we arrived and they didn't clean very well before they left so we called and housekeeping cleaned better. The view was beautiful yet too high for my husband. The staff was great, Betty was especially helpful and the housekeeper was really nice, she even went to Walmart to pick-up vacuum bags since the one in the vacuum was bursting at the seams and there were no extra bags in the unit.

Comment: My husband and myself came with another couple for the 2009 Shrimp Fest. We have stayed with Bender in the past. Since it was the first time the other couple had ever been to Gulf Shores we gave them the master bedroom. I had called the same day we checked in about how small the bed was in the extra bedroom and there was water outside of the front door. Bender send someone out to clean up the water and to check the bed. I was told it was a queen size, I told him it was the smallest queen size I had ever seen. And the light outside the extra bedroom window caused my husband and I to sleep when we could in daylight at night. When it rained again while we were there, I cleaned it the water outside the front door myself. And also the furniture on the balcony was not very comfortable. I will stay with Bender again, however I will ask more questions before I book.

This year was dog hair, even though dogs aren't allowed. The majority of the staff was very friendly, but there was one exception. Jimmy (title unknown) was not very helpful and unwilling to come out to help clean up the problem. It put a damper on our first night there and I hope there is not a repeat next year.
