Comment: We love Whistler and have visited here the last three years during the August/September period. Although we felt that the Wildwood facilities were a reasonable value for our money, two things took away from the pleasure of our stay here. The hidabed in this unit was atrocious to sleep on. You literally could feel every spring poking through. And secondly, there seemed to be a lack of onsite supervision or control during the night. There was a party element on both the Friday and Saturday nights that carried on well into the morning with the obvious impact on sleep quality.

Comment: Wildwood was essentially a ski in, ski out location. Not fancy but clean and mostly quiet except for the 20-something Aussie's singing in the hall in the wee morning hours. Easy walk to the village Marketplace for food. Great door to door service for affordable transportation from the airport on Pacific Coach. Staff was nice, but not always helpful. Can't wait to go back!

Comment: The Wildwood Lodge was not what we expected from viewing photos on the web site. The room suite was generally in run down condition. Visitors should also be aware that services at this lodge are very limited. There is no cleaning service. You are responsible for removing your own trash, clean towels are not delivered, etc. The only person on duty to help with questions or needs is at the front desk from 8a-8pm. The location however was great with easy ski in to Blackcomb lifts and short walk to Upper Village and Whistler Village.

Comment: We were not happy with the cleanliness of the unit.There were bits of what looked like cereal on the carpet.Other than that the unit was clean.The unit could use a facelift,but for the price we were not expecting luxury.Overall,it was alittle dissapointing, but the location made up for some of that.I would stay there again but not for the same price.

Comment: overall property was in good shape. 116 is in need of a refurbishing soon, blinds, paint etc frig may be on its last legs. pool /hot tub temps were close to perfect, and appeared clean and hygenic. Concierge was most helpful ! am still not sure if i paid for 5 or 6 days, as i shortened my stay by a day with 'only' a months notice. I see in the fine print I should have given 45d's. My bad I guess. I do not like being wrong, and avoid those situations in future.

Comment: The Wildwood Lodge was not what we expected from viewing photos on the web site. The room suite was generally in run down condition. Visitors should also be aware that services at this lodge are very limited. There is no cleaning service. You are responsible for removing your own trash, clean towels are not delivered, etc. The only person on duty to help with questions or needs is at the front desk from 8a-8pm. The location however was great with easy ski in to Blackcomb lifts and short walk to Upper Village and Whistler Village.

Comment: The Wildwood Lodge was not what we expected from viewing photos on the web site. The room suite was generally in run down condition. Visitors should also be aware that services at this lodge are very limited. There is no cleaning service. You are responsible for removing your own trash, clean towels are not delivered, etc. The only person on duty to help with questions or needs is at the front desk from 8a-8pm. The location however was great with easy ski in to Blackcomb lifts and short walk to Upper Village and Whistler Village.

Comment: overall property was in good shape. 116 is in need of a refurbishing soon, blinds, paint etc frig may be on its last legs. pool /hot tub temps were close to perfect, and appeared clean and hygenic. Concierge was most helpful ! am still not sure if i paid for 5 or 6 days, as i shortened my stay by a day with 'only' a months notice. I see in the fine print I should have given 45d's. My bad I guess. I do not like being wrong, and avoid those situations in future.

Although we felt that the Wildwood facilities were a reasonable value for our money, two things took away from the pleasure of our stay here. The hidabed in this unit was atrocious to sleep on. You literally could feel every spring poking through. And secondly, there seemed to be a lack of onsite supervision or control during the night. There was a party element on both the Friday and Saturday nights that carried on well into the morning with the obvious impact on sleep quality.

Comment: We were not happy with the cleanliness of the unit.There were bits of what looked like cereal on the carpet.Other than that the unit was clean.The unit could use a facelift,but for the price we were not expecting luxury.Overall,it was alittle dissapointing, but the location made up for some of that.I would stay there again but not for the same price.

Comment: overall property was in good shape. 116 is in need of a refurbishing soon, blinds, paint etc frig may be on its last legs. pool /hot tub temps were close to perfect, and appeared clean and hygenic. Concierge was most helpful ! am still not sure if i paid for 5 or 6 days, as i shortened my stay by a day with 'only' a months notice. I see in the fine print I should have given 45d's. My bad I guess. I do not like being wrong, and avoid those situations in future.

Comment: We love Whistler and have visited here the last three years during the August/September period. Although we felt that the Wildwood facilities were a reasonable value for our money, two things took away from the pleasure of our stay here. The hidabed in this unit was atrocious to sleep on. You literally could feel every spring poking through. And secondly, there seemed to be a lack of onsite supervision or control during the night. There was a party element on both the Friday and Saturday nights that carried on well into the morning with the obvious impact on sleep quality.

Comment: We were not happy with the cleanliness of the unit.There were bits of what looked like cereal on the carpet.Other than that the unit was clean.The unit could use a facelift,but for the price we were not expecting luxury.Overall,it was alittle dissapointing, but the location made up for some of that.I would stay there again but not for the same price.

Comment: overall property was in good shape. 116 is in need of a refurbishing soon, blinds, paint etc frig may be on its last legs. pool /hot tub temps were close to perfect, and appeared clean and hygenic. Concierge was most helpful ! am still not sure if i paid for 5 or 6 days, as i shortened my stay by a day with 'only' a months notice. I see in the fine print I should have given 45d's. My bad I guess. I do not like being wrong, and avoid those situations in future.

Although we felt that the Wildwood facilities were a reasonable value for our money, two things took away from the pleasure of our stay here. The hidabed in this unit was atrocious to sleep on. You literally could feel every spring poking through. And secondly, there seemed to be a lack of onsite supervision or control during the night. There was a party element on both the Friday and Saturday nights that carried on well into the morning with the obvious impact on sleep quality.

Easy walk to the village Marketplace for food. Great door to door service for affordable transportation from the airport on Pacific Coach. Staff was nice, but not always helpful. Can't wait to go back!

Comment: The Wildwood Lodge was not what we expected from viewing photos on the web site. The room suite was generally in run down condition. Visitors should also be aware that services at this lodge are very limited. There is no cleaning service. You are responsible for removing your own trash, clean towels are not delivered, etc. The only person on duty to help with questions or needs is at the front desk from 8a-8pm. The location however was great with easy ski in to Blackcomb lifts and short walk to Upper Village and Whistler Village.

You literally could feel every spring poking through. And secondly, there seemed to be a lack of onsite supervision or control during the night. There was a party element on both the Friday and Saturday nights that carried on well into the morning with the obvious impact on sleep quality.

Comment: There must have been something in the heating system because I had non-stop asthma problems inside the building, even in the lobby washroom, so it wasn't just that the last tenant inour room might have had a pet.

Comment: The Wildwood is a great place to stay...we've been there often. The unit we stayed in this time was a bit run down and the sink was very dirty. There were also old food wrappers behind the night table. Other than that, it was good...the staff was excellent, as always. Thanks!

Comment: We got everything promised. The only thing I can complain is the unit maintenance. I understand that not every user takes care of things, and probably the unit was not empty for too long, but anyway, the only thing I would have asked for, was having the unit in better shape.

Comment: The Wildwood Lodge was not what we expected from viewing photos on the web site. The room suite was generally in run down condition. Visitors should also be aware that services at this lodge are very limited. There is no cleaning service. You are responsible for removing your own trash, clean towels are not delivered, etc. The only person on duty to help with questions or needs is at the front desk from 8a-8pm. The location however was great with easy ski in to Blackcomb lifts and short walk to Upper Village and Whistler Village.
